A Beaverton Police officer shot and killed a man Tuesday morning who was armed with a gun, on a roof and acting aggressively.
It happened at 2030 SW 170th Avenue.
The officer tried to talk with the man, but he continued to point the gun at officers and after firing a shot into the roof of the house he was shot by a police officer.
Police say the man was a threat to the community and others. There is an elementary school across the street from the house.
