Temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday will warm into the low 80's.
Portland Parks and Rec will have five fountains open if you or the kids need a place to cool off:
- Bill Naito Legacy Fountain (in Waterfront Park, by Saturday Market)
- Director Park’s Teachers Fountain (815 SW Park Ave)
- Holladay Park Fountain (NE 11th Avenue & Holladay St)
- Jamison Square (810 NW 11th Avenue)
- Salmon Street Springs (Waterfront Park, corner of SW Salmon St)
McCoy Park Fountain (NE Trenton St. & Newman Ave) is currently turned off, but crews hope to have it turned on it a week.
Splash pads will be turned on for Memorial Day weekend.
