Update: Police say Malic Martinez was found safe.
Clackamas County Search and Rescue deputies are currently looking for 12 year old Malic Martinez. Malic was last seen leaving his residence in the 58000 block of Highway 26 near Brightwood, OR at approximately 4:00 pm Tuesday.
Malic was seen headed south from his residence into the woods behind his home.
Malic was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, black or gray gym shorts, with black Nike track shoes, and an unknown color backpack.
Malic has no wilderness survival training and is not equipped for cold overnight temps. Malic's family believes he may be attempting to go to Sandy.
