Kitten Overload At Oregon Humane Society

The Oregon Humane Society welcomed the arrival of 50 kittens earlier this week and is urging the public to visit the shelter and adopt a new furry friend. OHS now has more kittens available than any time so for this year.

The kittens arrived from shelters in California that were unable to find homes for them. Most kittens at OHS are adopted in one or two days, in part because successful spay and neuter programs have dramatically reduced the number of kittens available for adoption from the Portland area.

All kittens adopted from OHS are spayed/neutered and come with a microchip ID, collar OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, 30 days free PetPlan health insurance for Oregon residents and plenty of post adoption support.

Photos and profiles of all cats, kittens, dogs and other pets available for adoption can be viewed on the OHS website at: https://www.oregonhumane.org/adopt.

The OHS shelter is located at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd. in Portland and is open from 10am – 9pm Thursday through Saturday, and from 10am – 7pm Sunday through Wednesday. For more info call (503) 285-7722 or visit oregonhumane.org,
