The Linn County Sheriff has sent a letter to VP Joe Biden stating he and his deputies will not enforce any federal regulation enacted by Congress or by the President that would offend the constitutional rights of his citizens.   

Dave:   What part of his oath allows him to ignore laws he does not like?

Mark’s Take:  I don’t think it will ever come down to that, let’s see what the Sheriff is asked to do – if ANYTHING! It makes for good publicity for the Sheriff. But, God forbid, I wonder how the Sheriff would feel if one of his officers tragically engaged someone with the kind of weapon we are talking about.
