The Oregon Legislature will consider a bill that would allow illegal-immigrant Oregon high school graduates to pay in-state tuition rates.  Supporters say it will
help create a more educated work force. Critics don't like the idea of gov't benefits going to individuals who are in the U.S illegally.

Dave's take:  They are here through no fault of their own and we have already paid for their early education.  Now let them pay their way through college and start giving back.

Mark's take:  No way should an illegal get a lower rate.  My kid paid out of state tution in Washington - I guess I should have snuck him in.
