Blind Skater Tommy Carroll Interviewed by Tony Hawk

Left blind at the age of two from a form of retina cancer, Tommy Carroll has been skating since he was 10. Using the sound of his wheels and lots of protective gear, this brave teen has overcome what many people would've said was impossible.

The now-college sophomore says "I think everybody should know that everything happens for a reason and that there’s always a way to overcome an obstacle if you really want it enough."
