When world's collide. You have a better chance of picnicking on the moon than seeing Ted Nugent and Portland's Pink Martini performing on the same stage but, due to a happenstance of assigned seating at the State of the Union last night, Pink Martini's Thomas Lauderdale was seated next to the Nuge. And by the looks of it, they got along exactly how one would imagine they would- meaning, not at all.
Lauderdale was there as a guest of Rep. Earl Blumenauer and Nugent was there as a guest of Texas Rep. Steve Stockman.
(Thanks to Peter Ames Carlin for the heads up.)
